I’m a photographer, a graphic designer, a web developer, and also a geologist. I create because I enjoy it.
I currently live in Houston, Texas and work as a geologist on offshore deepwater oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. Before that I spent 17 years living in a cabin in the woods in Alaska.
I have worked professionally as a graphic artist, web designer, system administrator and computer technician. I have also worked as a sound engineer because I love music. It is my love for music that makes me want to take photos of concerts.
I also love to travel and want to see the world. My photos are for the memories. I’m hoping to capture the interesting, strange, bizarre, odd, and unique.
I was born with a camera in my hand and it shapes the way I look at the world. I want to create with light and motion. My goal is to capture the energy and emotion of a time and place. Other times I just want to document the fun stuff I see along the way.
“Inspiration, move me brightly,
light the song with sense and color,
hold away despair.
More than this I will not ask
faced with mysteries dark and vast”
